Walker Article
I like the idea that being shown in the walker article. I fee like it helped to expand the way that I think about art. I always been taught to look for motifs or themes in art but never the over riding theme that is shown in art. this is an interesting thought that helps to show the progression of what people think of the impression that the world has on them shown through their art. I think looking at art like this you can tell where the thoughts of a person truly originate.
I didn't really understand the in the garden part. I felt like it floated through her life and precess's really quickly. I also don't think of rules so much as rules but more of parameters set in a persons head for what they believe or what they were taught as kids. There can definitely be a better explanation for this or a deeper study done to show what he was talking about.

I like his thoughts in this article showing that age doesn't mater in your perception of things. You acuire those things when you're a kid. It's almost like your mind is programmed to follow what is shown in media and the media is meant to influence you. the magazine cover is a great example of this.
I do wish that they used more age groups. For example, there are many different levels in the development of the brain that can be examined. You could also look at more creative people vs. people who have a more streamlined mind. The only other think that I think could have been done is the presentation of the words denotation and connotation.
